My own journey began many years ago when I experienced first-hand the profound detrimental effects of stress. Stress led to develop depression, anxiety and isolating behaviors. I even contemplated harming myself and committing suicide because I could see no way out of it. Stress triggered food addiction and comfort eating which led to me gaining over 50lbs in weight. I was physically unwell with lots of weird unpleasant symptoms and little energy or drive to enjoy life. It made it hard to connect and be present with the people I really loved. For years my life felt like a total blur.
When I discovered that stress doesn’t have to be tolerated as part of being an ambitious high performer I became obsessed with learning about stress, neuroscience, wellbeing and peak performance. First I healed myself and then devoted my life to teaching collecting the best strategies to help people just like you thrive and live a life you truly love.
